New Project

ok so..Lizzy I don't have my abstract one...you have to wait becuase it's hanging up at school... but this is my newest one I'm working on now!
My Art teacher gave us the assignment to do... we had to draw something that goes with the saying , When one door closes another door opens. SO since it was around Easter when I was thinking of it I decided to do a tomb with a cross in the background. This is representing Christ's death (a door closed for his life) and his ressurection! (an open door for all of us into heaven!) this is just part of my drawing...I'll post the finised product lata!

heylo

Ok...so I don't really have anything of greatness to post. I should go get my butterfly pictures that I took the ohter weekend and post them...but it would take way too much work. Seriously I'm so tired. I was really sick yesterday...I went to church and then I slept when I got home...ate a little food... slept some more...moved to the couch...slept some more... watched "Amazing Grace"... and then went to bed. Sounds like a good day right? I didn't really want to go to work but I did... and I'm glad I did it made me tough. but now I'm ready for bed. Long school day tomorrow!

Hope you guys all have a great week!~Erin

March 5th
Hello...there's been so much going on this last while...
we have had seriously crazy weather and I have been busy working and going to school. so yeah... I have also spent a lot of time reflecting this last while...it seems so many people have been overcome with shallow lives...living just to get through one more day. I must admit I have been one of those people. The computer and technology are such addictive things...empty quizes and random things to fill empty time..that eventually we all become empty people without any passions. This last while I have started to do, more consistantly, the things that have always been important to me...such as journaling and reading my bible. I feel so refreshed and so much like myself...it's awesome! Now it's deciding what God wants me to do for him....
...do you wear a mask? Many people around us every day are wearing masks to protect themselves from the critical eye of the world. Do you? I am amazed how you can think you know someone and then poof they take their mask off and your like, "wow...we were best friends...why did you lie to me?"...maybe they didn't lie...maybe they've changed... I don't know anymore...but I do know I want to learn from all of this... so now my goal is to learn from all trying situations in my life.
Ok well...I have pictures to update someday butterfly garden pictures and such but I haven't had much time. Good night everyone...

BREAK

WOW...I am actually ready to start enjoying my break from school. All i have to do is finalize my schedual next week and I am ready to start school again. It's so strange going to yet another college. I wish Penn View would be acredited. it's so frustrating that even after all my hard work no one cares... oh well... God knows why He had me there.

Today was such a beautiful day! When i stopped by church I noticed that one place said it was 71 degrees! If this is global warming I'll take it! Who has seen 71 in January! I love it! It's days like this that make me glad to be alive.

I hope everyone has an awesome week!

Erin

PS I'm enjoying having Asa around for a few weeks! :-D

Ok ya'll... so my blog is majorly neglected and who knows if anyone even checks it out anymore! Last time I wrote I was taking tests and now my first semester is almost finished. I am working on the last Essay as we speak. It has been an interesting Semester... I miss all my Penn View friends and choir more than anything.

Christmas is coming...however, my birthday is first. I still feel 16 so it's hard to believe that 16 was 5 years ago already! When I'm with my sister I still feel young, however when I remember how I was a 16 I realize that things have changed and time has a way of making you grow up. But that's just the way life goes....

Well.... I guess that's the rambles for the next four months... hehe.. no really I shall try to be better about posting...it just seems life gets too busy!

Here's some pictures that my sister took. These are my pastor's kids...but their like our family!
