Meal worms...

ok sooo how many of you have heard of meal worms before? WELL just to let you know they are acutally in almost every thing that is a grain product that you eat! ANYWAY... for my science class at school I have them as pets. I have had them for a while now and it is actually getting pretty tiresome. Thankfully now all I have to do is experiement on them for two more days and then I am FINISHED....

Tonight when I was watching them eat I felt like a border patrol makin sure they wouldn't get out of the box. I've had to starve them for the past day and then I gave them four different kinds of food to see what they perfer. (as if I really care!) So I had all the worms (or so I thought) inside their plastic homes because I was finished and then I counted them... 1.....4....7...10...15...16...16...16... my mind started swirling.. where was number 17?! I know I had 17 worms!!! Heat crawls up into my face and I frantically look all around moving the box...turning on the bright light... counting and re counting... I thought I had check under all the little piles of food in the cardboard box... the horrifying fact faced me... One of the little buggers must have crawled out when I wasn't watching! I decdied to check the food one more time... and PHEW!!! there he was undneath the graham cracker crumbs... I breathed a sigh of relief and then procided to try to get my heart to slow down. I was honestly really really scared and I am so glad that I found that worm because that would have been TROUBLE!

Ok... well I thought you would all like that story... it wasn't funny at the time but I think it's pretty funny now..

(mom if you're reading this I'm sure you're the only one that doesn't think this is very funn! *GRINS*)

WELL after a long day of work I am ready to buckle down and do home work for about 1 1/2 hrs... I really need to get it done... I don't like doing school work on sunday SOOOO i have to do this... I'm all ready though so it's ok...

People really haven't been blogging much...what's up with that?!

Thankful

Tonight I am once again thankful for my boyfriend...my mom... my sister...my dad... and Summer! Justin was over to soooo i'm thankful for him to. We had a giant bon fire...which my dad mostly just lit and we watched burn a little.
I am working on being thankful and counting my blessings instead of crying over the things I don't have... it's amazing how one minute you can be perfectly content and then someones says one thing and you realize how much you don't have... and how much you miss or desire. So yeah...

Meet my new pets! The first one is a swallow tail... he won't turn into a butterfly until next spring however these little guys on the right are already well on their way to being a monarch butterfly!!

Ok so I'm going to try to type as fast as I can because the sun and pool are calling my name but I feel like have to write before I burst!

Driving to school three times a week gives me so much time to just simply think... and think... I have a lot of thoughts and I actually really enjoy this time...

My science class is really interesting it also get's me thinking about different things... about creation and why I believe what I believe... it tests me because sure I believe that God created the world...and to deny that is like saying a beautiful painting just came to be... a beautiful painting has to have a creator it doesn't just happen... SO yeah... but I want proof... I want facts... I do believe... however... I just want to know more... so Thanks to Harold...he lent me some info to help me out.

Yesterday the highlight of my day was watching a catipiller shed his skin and turn into the fist stage of a crysalis... it was amazing and beautiful and I was so happy I was able to see it.

OK WELL so much for a random post... I haven't been writing in my journal for the past month so my thoughts are all scattered and this is the type of post you get! I don't know who reads my blog but hello to everyone!

OH YEAH I gotta have some political statement... I hear this Sarah Palin is a great person..... I wonder what everyone else in the blogging world thinks of her....
