knitting

So now the deer is ofically all cut up and in the freezer. I am so happy to have it over with! It took three nights to get it completely cut up. We ended up with 18 bags of steaks and a bucket of meet that I still have to can. (Mom's going to help me with that process)

I've started knitting! My boss is an amazing knitter and so I've got a private teacher :D we're starting with a simple hat.

I took some pictures of it because Mom's in Florida with Grandma and they want to see it! I have really enjoyed it a lot. It's pretty relaxing and it's actually fun to be making something other than dishcloths!

Today Emily comes home and my Aunt Sue also arrives in town. They're going to be coming over for dinner tonight and so we should have a nice houseful. I'm hoping we can break out some games... They like dutch blitz so maybe we'll play some of that . I haven't seen them since the wedding and even then I wasn't really able to spend much time with them!

The other night I edited one of my wedding picture... Photo taken by Laura Marks

Weekend joys

Well Asa and I have been married for one entire month! :) Time really does go by quickly! I made a nice pasta dinner and we got to eat at our bar counter. I would have taken pictures but my camera took a trip to Corning with Emily.

This weekend we had a nice gather... I love having my house full of people that I love! We had a Mexican type dinner it was delicious. The girls got here and helped me get everything ready. I made everyone latte's. I should have taken a picture of the eight steaming cups of deliciousness!

Me waiting for the espresso!

BREAKFAST mmmm

Amazing cinnamon rolls made out of the most interesting recipe

My second attempt at bread went better! Thanks to my mom's bread maker!

Welcome to married life!

Hi everyone! I'm now officially Erin E Kiser! We've been so busy since we got home from the honey moon! The other day I tried being all wifely and attempted to make bread. If you haven't heard about it yet, I'm surprised. Let's just said my family was happy to be provided with a chuckle over my FLAT success. But other things have worked out for me despite my low rising bread. My biscuits actually weren't hockey pucks! I made them in the toaster over, it was amazing to see them puff up!
I've had fun trying out new recipes. The Stewart family (my previous boss' family from Garf's) gave me this beautiful wooden bowl. It came with a delicious recipe for salad dressing! mmmm
OHHH you probably want a picture of Asa and I ... hehe ... Here's one of us on our honeymoon!:

Hello everyone! Tonight we experienced some wedding preparations... Tonight we cut up 80 pounds of chicken for the reception! Things are rolling right along! Tomorrow it will be a month until I am Mrs. Asa Kiser

Hard work... hehe just kidding... it wasn't hard and it was fun working with mom!
Now the chicken is soaking in the fridge until Friday when I will grill it! :D
