sounds...

You know what sound I like? I like the sound of a toy in a child's hand during show and tell. I first noticed this noise when I was in the school working, a few years ago. Today during one of our circle projects I was reminded of this noise again... I know this is so random but the reason I'm posting this is to see if anyone else out there knows what I am talking about. It's a different sound than when they are playing with the toys.... it's the sound of little hands holding tightly to a prized treasure... maybe I'm crazy but I guess this sound holds good memories of school days... maybe that's why I like it... it has scents of pride and happiness mingled in with it... it's a sound that makes me smile.

OK so take time to notice sounds around you... it's really quite interesting

Tonight I was out looking at the moon... it was ominous and beautiful out... the wind whipped around causing the outside air a welcome retreat from my stuffy room ... The Dark clouds that floated past were interesting... and something I had never seen before in that light...

but he's in a better place now...

WELL after a long day of work I am ready to buckle down and do home work for about 1 1/2 hrs... I really need to get it done... I don't like doing school work on sunday SOOOO i have to do this... I'm all ready though so it's ok...

Thankful

Tonight I am once again thankful for my boyfriend...my mom... my sister...my dad... and Summer! Justin was over to soooo i'm thankful for him to. We had a giant bon fire...which my dad mostly just lit and we watched burn a little.
I am working on being thankful and counting my blessings instead of crying over the things I don't have... it's amazing how one minute you can be perfectly content and then someones says one thing and you realize how much you don't have... and how much you miss or desire. So yeah...

Meet my new pets! The first one is a swallow tail... he won't turn into a butterfly until next spring however these little guys on the right are already well on their way to being a monarch butterfly!!

New Program!

I just wanted to try out this new blogger thing that I got with my computer! I can actually type a blog from my Microsoft office and then it will publish it for me! GRINS! I think that's a pretty cool thing… so I'm just trying it out… J I hope everyone is have a good rainy Saturday I love rainy Saturday's …sigh… but I must go into work! Talk to you later! Erin

Ok so I'm going to try to type as fast as I can because the sun and pool are calling my name but I feel like have to write before I burst!

Driving to school three times a week gives me so much time to just simply think... and think... I have a lot of thoughts and I actually really enjoy this time...

My science class is really interesting it also get's me thinking about different things... about creation and why I believe what I believe... it tests me because sure I believe that God created the world...and to deny that is like saying a beautiful painting just came to be... a beautiful painting has to have a creator it doesn't just happen... SO yeah... but I want proof... I want facts... I do believe... however... I just want to know more... so Thanks to Harold...he lent me some info to help me out.

Yesterday the highlight of my day was watching a catipiller shed his skin and turn into the fist stage of a crysalis... it was amazing and beautiful and I was so happy I was able to see it.

OK WELL so much for a random post... I haven't been writing in my journal for the past month so my thoughts are all scattered and this is the type of post you get! I don't know who reads my blog but hello to everyone!

OH YEAH I gotta have some political statement... I hear this Sarah Palin is a great person..... I wonder what everyone else in the blogging world thinks of her....
